Hello,

I love literature, but have an affair with everything involving academe daily.  I was a former high school English teacher of American, British, and World literatures. Currently I am an adjunct professor. Subjects include education, composition and literature. In addition, I provide subject and test based tutoring. I am a freelance writer, editor, and curriculum developer and writer. Check out my website for more details.

My background is quite diverse. I was born in Trenton, grew up in Washington State, and came back to Trenton in sixth grade. Then I earned a scholarship to attend George School. I have a B.A. in English from Ursinus College, where I graduated a Phi Beta Kappan and Magna Cum Laude. I then earned an M.A. in English from The College of New Jersey. Additionally, I have a New Jersey standard certification (highly qualified) and an Instructional Level I teaching certification for Pennsylvania, as well as a certificate in Writing for Children and Teenagers from The Institute of Children’s Literature. I am also a certified Zumba instrutor for Basic, Zumbatomic (for kids), and Gold.

Currently I am working towards a Ph.D. in Education: Curriculum and Teaching through Northcentral University and was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi. I am also pursuing my N.D. with the School of Natural Medicine to become a naturopathic physician.

When I have free time, I like to watch anime and birds, garden, crochet, sew, play the flute, read, and of course write hubs!
